Dr. Beth comes from a big family of 8 kids. She was born in San Diego, California and then moved to Michigan at the age of 10, which is where most of her family currently resides.

Carrie Watkins, C.C.A.

Certified Chiropractic Assistant & X-ray Tech

Carrie has been with LFC for over 4 years, from the very beginning! She works primarily on our “Mom & Baby” side but helps in the main office as well. Carrie is a Certified Chiropractic Assistant and a certified X-ray Tech.

She also works with patient accounts, and aids with anything else our practice may need. Carrie’s favorite part about working at LFC is the patients being like part of our family, seeing them heal, and loving on all the cute babies and office pups.

Carrie was born in Missouri and moved to NC when she was 19 years old. She has been married to her husband Andy for over 18 years. Together, they have a teen daughter Aspen, whom they love watching play on the soccer field. Carrie enjoys music, the mountains, spending time with her family, their two dogs, Maddie and Gena, bearded dragon, Cleo, and watching football (Go chiefs!)

Casey Santangelo, C.C.A.

Certified Chiropractic Assistant & X-ray Tech

Casey has faithfully worked as a Certified Chiropractic Assistant for the last two years. She is also a certified X-ray Tech and oversees our insurance/PI cases.

You will primarily find her at the front desk of our main office. Casey’s favorite part of working for LFC is seeing the difference our practice makes in patient’s lives and health.

Casey is an East Tennessee native but moved to NC after getting married in 2010. She and her husband, Andrew, met in the 4th grade and have been married for 15 years! They have a 5 year old son, Cam, a 15 year old Yorkie, Sassy Sue, and a 5 year old Labradoodle, Luna Claire. In Casey’s free time, she enjoys practicing baseball with her son and taking him to monster truck shows or the zoo/safari park. She also loves the beach, reading, and all things girly/pink!

Courtney Wetzel, C.A.

Chiropractic Assistant

Courtney is the Chiropractic Assistant of LFC Therapy certified in operating our SoftWave and decompression equipment.

Her favorite part of working at LFC is witnessing the joy (and sometimes tears of joy), from patients after being treated with SoftWave, realizing the healing they are receiving!

Courtney was born in Orlando, FL and moved to NC when she was 13 years old. Her favorite color is pink and loves anything sparkly! She has a 6 year old chocolate lab mix named Knox. Courtney is very excited to be a first-time aunt and to spoil her new baby nephew, Maverick. In her free time she loves going to the beach. Courtney loves to travel and so far her two favorite trips have been to Jamaica and Aruba!

Veronica Tejeda, C.A.

Chiropractic Assistant & Translator

Veronica works part-time as our chiropractic assistant translator. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. She aids us with all Spanish speaking patients and loves being able to help the Hispanic community in this way.

Veronica assists everywhere as needed from therapy to the main clinic and mom & baby side. She is also certified in SoftWave and decompression therapy. Veronica’s favorite part about working at LFC is interacting with patients and seeing their healing journey. She loves spending time with Carrie, Casey, and Courtney and learning from Drs. Matt and Beth. They have so much knowledge and continue to learn which she admires and aspires to do.

Veronica is married to her husband George and together they have a 6 year old son named Gio and a cat named Amy. She is currently at Wake Tech enrolled in the Massage Therapy program, graduating in April and loving every second of it!

Kayla Garnett

Social Media Manager

Kayla is our social media manager. She spent her first 2 years here in Wilson with LFC but in 2024 her family moved back to VA and continues to work remotely. She handles everything you see on our social media, creates flyers, slideshows/videos for our office, and more.

Kayla and her husband are in full time ministry. Together they have a 4 year old boy named Ryton and a 6 year old daughter name Emersyn.  Kayla homeschools her children and directs a 1 day a week hybrid school where she teaches 10 children.  She doesn’t have much free time, but if she were to travel, you would find her hiking in the mountains!

Lou Ellen Stroud, LMBT.

Lou Ellen is in our office by appointment only.  She is a licensed massage therapist with over two years of experience.  She absolutely loves what she does and is amazing at it!

Massage therapy has so many benefits and she has seen firsthand how it can improve a person’s overall well-being by helping them not only feel better but move better, too.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Lou Ellen gained valuable experience working in the medical field, which deepened her understanding of the human body and enhanced her ability to provide informed therapeutic care.

She truly considers it a blessing to be able to support others on their wellness journey!

Lou Ellen lives in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, with her husband and they have 2 amazing adult children.  She is excited to expand her practice and looks forward to serving clients in the Wilson area with compassion, care and healing hands!

Gena

Gena is the official office potato. You can find her baking in the dog bed in front of the heater when it is cold. She will occasionally get up for treats and gets the zoomies about 10 minutes before it is time to go home.

Daisy

Daisy is the old soul of the group who LOVES belly rubs and sunbathing on the back of the couch. She acts as the therapy dog to calm patients if needed.

Mindy

Mindy is the crazy treat thief, door greeter, and kissing champion. She offers woofs, high fives, and spins for treats!
